....was in my car at the time so couldn't get a great shot, but the leftovers of the promenade seemed to be attracting a lot of attention. They are currently charging £1 to go on to the pier and have a closer look I hear; an episode of Phoenix Nights springs to mind. The metal fencing is there not so much to keep swimmers at a safe distance, but to stop the looting of the fruit machines that plopped into the sea.
